    Fitting It All In

  • I don't know about you guys, but I am one of those people who has always had too many things on the go at any one time. It's just me. I like to be busy, my mind goes in about 20 directions at a time, and consequently I have about 20 projects [well it feels like 20 anyway] on the go at any one time. Which is all well and good, but sometimes it can feel kinda hard to get anywhere on, well, anything. Then sometimes life comes along and directs you to focus your energies. On One Thing. Now.Which has pretty much been the story of this week. So on the one hand, I'm making good progress in one important area of my life [my little bookkeeping business] but have been falling behind a bit on some other projects that I have on the go [sewing that new dress, building my online shop, planting more things in the vegie garden, writing on my blog, taking photos that I need to take, to name a few]. Plus spending quality time with my family. Plus taking some 'me' time, and not letting that slide [which happens way to easily]. Plus still getting enough sleep. No complaints though! If anything, feeling stretched is making me work more efficiently on all of my projects, when I do actually get to them. Something about working under pressure. Oh and I haven't even mentioned my study that I'm just not really doing [speaking of working under pressure].I don't know how to do only one thing at a time. I'd go nuts if I tried to anyway. I guess I'll continue on with my juggling act. Besides, I know that if I were to drop any one thing, I'd very quickly replace it with three new things.Anyone else have this problem? Got any tips for managing it? I'd love to hear!Contemplating it all, with my minions looking on.
